Loss Prevention safety

Britannia’s loss prevention team can help improve safety on board ship, and regularly issue practical safety guidance to shipowners, helping them to mitigate risks and prevent losses related to crew, ships and cargo. Our publications cover such topics as ship inspections, ship condition surveys, training courses, maintenance and materials. By adopting a risk-based approach and conducting personalised risk assessments, we develop tailored mitigation strategies to meet the unique needs of each Member.
