The office is staffed by a team of twenty-seven. The office is led by Lye Chow Kheng (CEO-Singapore) who has extensive experience in handling P&I claims previously with a shipowner. Lye has oversight over P&I Claims whilst Colin Chung, an England and Wales qualified lawyer with experience both in private practice and with P&I Clubs, heads up the FD&D Team.

Lye and Colin are supported by Xinyi Ong (Singapore and England & Wales qualified lawyer), Pel Lee (Hong Kong qualified lawyer), Irfan Nasrulhaq (Singapore qualified lawyer) and Nikki Zhang (Australian qualified lawyer). The Claims team is further supported by Capt. Nasir Subahrie, Pan Lin, Victoria McFarlane, Kellie Ng, Kasturi Valagasam, Jennifer Ting and Li Rong Ong , all of whom have legal, maritime and/or insurance backgrounds. Victoria, Kellie, Kasturi, Jennifer and LI Rong are responsible for the People Risks claims as well as the People Risks correspondent matters in Asia.

Capt. Ajit Karande is responsible for correspondent work and oversight of our regional correspondents.

The Loss Prevention department for Asia is headed by Loss Prevention Manager Capt. Charles Chong working alongside Loss Prevention Officers James Ng, Muhammad Mahadhir and Mohanaveel Veerappa.

On January 25, 2019 Singapore’s insurance regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), granted Britannia a licence to underwrite business from its Singapore branch. TR(B)S is the appointed underwriting agent of the branch, and Underwriting is carried out by Geovenn Lim (Singapore Qualified Lawyer).

The administration and accounts functions are handled by Sally Yang, Serene Lim, Teo Xiao Ming and Low Chai Hoong. Amrita Kaur and Stephanie Ng are the Human Resources Business Partners, Chua Ee Lin Elaine is the Compliance Officer and Irwan Sumarto is the IT officer.
