CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION FINES IN SENEGAL

Our correspondent, TCI Africa, has issued a circular with an update on customs and immigration fines in Senegal. The Authorities have become more tolerant of discrepancies noted on ships’ arrival declarations and fines are rarely imposed. Despite these positive developments, shipowners are advised to continue being vigilant and submit accurate declarations on arrival.
