SINGAPORE: ADVISORY FOR ALTERNATIVE ANCHORAGES

Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) has issued an advisory for alternative anchorages. From January 2024, the Just In Time Planning and Coordination Platform (JIT Platform) for the Port of Singapore will be extended to tankers berthing at the energy terminals and all vessels calling at the anchorages.
The vessel operator’s cooperation and adherence to this advisory are crucial for the effective implementation of the JIT Platform and the uninterrupted operations in Singapore as mentioned in The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) circular.
