BRITANNIA LOSS PREVENTION WEBINAR: CARGO MATTERS – VENTILATION AND FUMIGATION

Thank you to the 200 plus attendees at our Loss Prevention department webinar: Cargo Matters – Ventilation and Fumigation on Tuesday 29 September 2020. Hosted by Neale Rodrigues, the presenters were: Capt. Slav Ostrowicki – Loss Prevention Manager, Britannia P&I; Dr Stephanie Heard – Consultant and Food Scientist, CWA International Ltd; and Mr Mike Bowness – Consultant and Charted Engineer, CWA International Ltd.

The presenters addressed the basic rules and best practices associated with ventilation of hygroscopic and non-hygroscopic cargoes; providing practical guidance for preventing cargo damage and managing fumigation.
