CHINA IMPLEMENTS A COMPLETE BAN OF IMPORT OF SOLID WASTE FROM 1 JANUARY 2021

Correspondents OASIS P&I advise that the Chinese government has announced the complete ban of the import of solid waste from 1 January 2021. This includes solid, semi solid and gaseous articles and substances placed in containers that have lost their original usage value and/or have been abandoned.
