CENTRO INTERNAZIONALE RADIO MEDICO (CIRM) INITIATIVE FOR PROTECTING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF SHIP – CIRM MEDICAL INFORMATION

Most requests for telemedicine from the International Radio Medical Centre (CIRM) use e-mail as a means of communication. E-mails represent a “vulnerable” system and not enough to protect medical data that are considered “sensitive” by law for the protection of personal data. To overcome this problem, CIRM has developed a platform in line with the data security equirements imposed on medical communications by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
