CIRM UPDATE
Published: 4 August 2022
Comité International Radio-Maritime (CIRM) is the free telemedicine service run out of Rome that is available to shipowners who don’t have their own private telemedicine subscription or in-house doctor. CIRM has advised that in order to allow it to guarantee medical assistance of a reasonable quality, it is mandatory for ships that need CIRM assistance to provide all the basic information summarised in this form as well as the inventory of medicines available on board. The form is a fillable PDF file that can be used directly as an attachment to the request for medical advice. Please note that delays may be experienced in the handling of requests by CIRM if the basic information required in the form is not provided by the applicant.
