CHINA FISHING BAN: SUMMER FISHING BAN ANNOUNCED

Our Correspondent in China, Huatai, has summarised details of the upcoming 2022 summer fishing ban in China. According to the Notice of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas on Adjusting the System of Summer Fishing Ban, issued on 23 February 2021, China’s coastal areas will enter the fishing ban on 1 May 2022. The fishery administrations of Shandong, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi provinces and other relevant municipal fishery authorities have issued Implementation Plans for the 2022 summer fishing ban.
