IMPROVEMENTS FOR CREW PROCESS

In view of the evolving COVID-19 situation globally, the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has released PMC 38 of 2021 which details the enhancement of their crew change requirements aimed at safeguarding the wellbeing of seafarers undergoing a crew change in Singapore, as well as Singapore’s populace.
With effect from 4 October 2021, 0001hrs, a new Crew Change System with a streamlined application process will replace the current online portal form. The user guide for the new Crew Change System can be downloaded here. Ship owners/managers/agents must apply for crew change in Singapore by completing the online form.
