BRAZIL: COVID-19 UPDATE – BAN ON ENTRY OF FOREIGNERS

Correspondents in Brazil have advised that the Brazilian government issued Ordinance no. 518 on 12 November 2020 extending the ban on entry of foreigners into the country by road/land or waterway for a further period of 30 days.
The entry of crew members who are boarding a ship or platform operating in jurisdictional waters, and entry for medical treatment continues to be permitted subject to specific conditions as detailed in article 3 of the Ordinance.
