CHINA: NEW PREVENTION AND CONTROL MEASURES FOR SHIPS ENTERING CHINA

China’s Ministry of Transport have issued an update (No. 78/2020), relating to crew changes with a view to strengthening the prevention and control of COVID-19 on ships sailing internationally. The updates are applicable for all ships intending to enter China, which have:
a) changed crew members at the last port or place overseas before entering China; or
b) changed crew members overseas during the last 14 days prior to arrival at a port in China.
