Two incidents of armed robbery against ships at Batangas Anchorage, Philippines were reported to the ReCAAP Information Sharing Centre during the week of 18 – 24 August 2020.
In both incidents the perpetrators demonstrated violence towards the crew. Masters and crew are strongly advised to exercise vigilance, maintain constant look-out for suspicious boats in the vicinity and report all incidents immediately to the authorities.
