INDIA: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) – ENTRY RESTRICTIONS AND QUARANTINE PROCEDURES

In addition to travel and quarantine restrictions currently in place, Indian officials will ban entry for all travellers from Afghanistan, Malaysia, and the Philippines effective 1700 March 17, as well as from the European Union, the European Free Trade Association, Turkey and United Kingdom, starting 1730 March 18. The measures are aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Local Correspondents GAC have also advised of the ‘Quarantine Procedures’ currently in place in Indian ports.
