SEA ROBBERY AND SEA THEFT INCIDENTS IN THE SINGAPORE STRAIT AND APPROACHES SPIKE

The Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) has recently circulated observations from the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) on a spike of sea robbery and sea theft incidents in the Singapore Strait and approaches from end of Nov to Dec 2019. This included four sea robberies, three sea thefts and six attempted actions incidents.
