ALERT OVER THE OUTBREAK OF A NEW CORONAVIRUS IN CHINA

The World Health Organisation (WHO) have advised of the outbreak of a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) / Covid-19 stemming from the city of Wuhan, Hubei province, China. As of 20 January 2020, 282 confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV have been reported from four countries including China (278 cases), Thailand (2 cases), Japan (1 case) and the Republic of Korea (1 case).
Typical symptoms include fever, cough, difficulty in breathing and fatigue. Authorities have confirmed that this new virus can spread from person to person, and relevant medical and quarantine authorities in China and other countries have initiated preventative risk assessment measures.
