US COAST PILOT: NEW EDITION PUBLISHED
Published: 3 August 2018
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has recently published a new edition of ‘US Coast Pilot’ that includes both the Navigation Rules and the amalgamated International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (COLREGS). The US Coast Pilot is issued in nine volumes that contain supplemental information difficult to show on a nautical chart but which is important to navigators of coastal and intracoastal waters and the US Great Lakes. The US Coast Pilot publications already include the Coast Guard’s Vessel Traffic Service regulations. All US Coast Pilot books are arranged by geographical location and are free to download from the NOAA website.
