Branch Offices
We are the oldest P&I Club in the world. Trusted by our members since 1855, we’ve built a reputation for providing an exceptional standard of service.
We have branch offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Copenhagen.
Our Tokyo office underwrites insurance and employs a legally qualified Japanese claims handler to ease the processing of more complex claims and FD&D matters.
The staff of our office in Hong Kong is predominately local, helping the work of port correspondents on behalf of all Britannia Members, and P&I and FD&D claims on behalf of local Members.
Our Singapore office looks after Members in the ASEAN countries, India and Australasia, the office also handles and oversees claims arising in the ASEAN region where required, in association with our local port correspondents. On January 25, 2019 we were granted a licence to underwrite business from our Singapore office by Singapore’s insurance regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
